Study Abroad/Tour/Course Opportunities

  • Join Oklahoma State University Assistant Professor of Design, Housing, and Merchandising Alana S. Pulay, Ph.D., NCIDQ, LEED AP, May 15-26 for a lovely two weeks exploring Taos, New Mexico while learning how to draw realistic perspectives of the surrounding architecture and landscape. Absolutely no artistic skill or experience is required and this class is open to anyone - OSU student or not. You'll draw the churches Georgia O'Keefe painted, settle in at the studios of Taos Art Colony artists.  You’ll create drawings of the surrounding gardens and mountains in addition to Puebloan pottery, designs and architecture. Enjoy relaxed exploration of a gorgeous and culturally rich landscape while brandishing a pencil and relishing your new drawing skills. Finish up the day with lively evening events at the newly renovated Doel Reed Center for the Arts. Deadline to apply is May 5. Learn more.
