2019 Call for Scholarship Collaborative Positions

- Abstract Review Co-Coordinator: This position manages all aspects of the review process for written scholarship at the Annual Meeting and the five Regional Meeting. The Co-Coordinator serves for two consecutive years, ending May 1. The first year acts as a learning year before taking the lead of the coordination process the final year. Co-Coordinators may not submit scholarship entries to national or regional meetings while in their position of reviewing creative scholarship.
- Creative Scholarship Co-Coordinator: This position serves a two-year appointment to maintain consistency and potentially assist his/her successor in increasing the overall level of quality regarding the competition. The Co-Coordinator and the members of their committee serve a one-year appointment to provide a diversity of individual viewpoints and a variety of creative experience and recognition. Co-Coordinators and committee members may not submit scholarship entries to national or regional meetings while in their position of reviewing creative scholarship.
- Scholarship Collaborative Coordinator: This position provides leadership for the Scholarship Collaborative whose focus is to support and enhance the scholarship component of each IDEC member's daily work life. The Coordinator is appointed by the IDEC Board, in consultation with the Director of Scholarship.
- Conference Proceedings Co-Coordinator: This position serves on the Conference Committee and is responsible for the assembly and editing of the conference proceedings, which are posted on the IDEC website to members and nonmembers. The Conference Proceedings Co-Coordinator is appointed by the President, in consultation with the Abstract Review Coordinator and Director of Scholarship.
It is permissible to nominate yourself or another IDEC member.
