IDEC chooses Kellen Company for Association Management
The Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC), the foremost professional society for interior design education, has chosen Kellen Company to provide full-service association management to the Council. IDEC selected Kellen Company for its expertise in helping associations grow membership and service offerings through strategic counsel and administration management.
“We look forward to expanding our organization and delivering even greater value to IDEC members through our partnership with Kellen,” said Katherine Ankerson, IDEC president-elect. “We believe that Kellen’s expertise will be of significant benefit to our organization.”
IDEC advances the profession of interior design education by providing its members with educational and networking resources. Its members include professional interior design educators, interior design professionals who support formal education in the profession and students of interior design.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with IDEC’s membership and board,” said Sarah Washburn, IDEC Executive Director. “Because of Kellen’s experience managing trade associations and professional societies, as well as other clients in the interior design field, our goal is to assist IDEC with their strategic planning, growth objectives, and program development.”
Kellen’s IDEC management team will be based in Kellen’s Chicago office.
