IDEC Foundation

Interior Design Educator’s Council mission is to:

To fulfill the charitable, educational and scientific objectives and purposes of Interior Design Educators Council, Inc., as such objectives and purposes change with time and circumstance;
To receive, administer, distribute and expend funds, gifts, donations, bequests, contributions and other receipts of money or property of every kind or nature in furtherance of the Corporation's charitable, educational and scientific objectives and purposes;
To do any and all things necessary or incidental to the accomplishment of these objectives and purposes; and
To transact any and all lawful business for which corporations may be incorporated under the Act, provided such business is not inconsistent with the Corporation’s status as an organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws.

IDEC Foundation
The IDEC Foundation, Inc. Board would like to invite IDEC members to consider donating to the Foundation. The IDEC Foundation is a 501(c)3, with tax exempt status. This status permits contributors to declare donations as tax deductions.

The IDEC Foundation supports many endeavors including the Journal of Interior Design, IDEC Annual Conference Keynote Speaker, the Graduate Scholars program, and Special Projects Awards. When making a donation, IDEC members may select a preferred fund to support. These include:

Anna Brightman Fund (enhancement of the Journal of Interior Design)
Wilhemina Boldt Speakers Fund (Conference Keynote Speaker)
Polsky/Fixtures Furniture/ IDEC Fund (Research)
Polsky Family Supporting Foundation (Research)
Carole Price Shanis FISID Scholarship Fund (Professional Development)
Harwood/May/Sherman Fund
IDEC Fellows Fund
General Fund (for use of the Foundation)
