    The IDEC Exchange is seeking innovative and critically focused projects, studios and research that engage the questions stemming from the Conference theme, Interior Design Matters, through rich and rigorous investigations. What are current practices and methods that have the potential to generate the matter and space of Interior Design within the classroom, scholarly research, and creative practice? The exchange is interested in celebrating projects that not only demonstrate innovative outcomes, but that also push forward concepts, processes, approaches and methodologies as the matter of Interior Design.

    Call for Innovative Teaching Ideas

    The Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) invites educators from around the globe to submit an Innovative Teaching Idea for potential inclusion in the IDEC 2016 Innovative Teaching Ideas Collection. Submissions are double-blind reviewed by a panel of distinguished interior design educators who will recommend acceptance for publication on IDEC’s website. As such, and subject to college/university tenure and promotion guidelines, an Innovative Teaching Idea may be appropriate for inclusion in an educator’s curriculum vitae record.
