Note from IDEC Historian Buie Harwood

Hi to all IDEC Members!

I am pleased to inform you that the IDEC History website is up and running! It has a list of all Presidents with their beginning year of service, conference locations with coordinators and host colleges, and historical milestones with significant information from 1962 to 2010. There are gaps in the historical milestones that will be filled in gradually over the next year.

If anyone has information to contribute to these missing years, please forward it to me at bharwood2@gmail.com. This website should be a helpful resource for those wanting to learn more about IDEC, as well as those doing historical research on IDEC or related topic areas such as FIDER/CIDA and NCIDQ.

To access the IDEC History website, please go to "What is IDEC" on IDEC's home page, then "History" on the top bar, and then to the individual topic areas. Enjoy!
