K-12 Task Force
The IDEC Board is issuing a call to all IDEC members to participate on the K-12 Task Force. The work will be done over the next two years.
The purpose of the K-12 Task Force is to follow up on the development of a Junior Certificate program for the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS).
The Task Force will meet and communicate digitally an average of once per month.
To volunteer for this Task Force, please send an email to Scott Ageloff (scott@ageloff.com) by April 15, 2011. Please include:
- Your name, institution, department/program name, and contact information
- Title of your position
- A brief sentance or two describing why you wish to participate in this Task Force and why you believe you can be successful.
National/International Status of IDEC Task Force
The IDEC Board is issuing a call to all IDEC members to participate in a Task Force during the next year.
The purpose of this task force is to determine the current status of IDEC as a national, international, and/or global professional organization and a recommendation for the future status.
The National/International Status of IDEC Task Force will assemble for its first call by June 2011. Its work will be completed by Feburary 2012 in time for the Board's consideration at the March 2012 Board Meeting.
