Call for JID - Special Issues Papers
The Journal of Interior Design (JID) is pleased to invite you to submit a scholarly paper for consideration in a special issue on Sustainability. This proposed Special Issue brings together new ideas and cutting edge research that will be explored at the ERID pre-conference symposium slated for March 15 as part of the 2011 IDEC Annual Conference in Denver, CO.
Contributors are asked to submit full papers with abstracts on themes relating interior design to sustainability having relevance to the built environment and specifically to the development of knowledge of interior design research, education and practice.
2011 JID Symposium - Request for Presentation Proposals
The Journal of Interior Design (JID) is proud to sponsor a symposium focusing on design for a small planet. This symposium will take place at the 2011 Annual Conference in Denver, CO. The intent of this symposium is to advance the understanding of environmentally responsible interior design (ERID) through discussion of research and scholarly activity, design practice and teaching strategies.
Abstracts are invited that explore ERID theory, practice and pedagogy. Proposals are requested for presentations of ERID research and scholarly activity; authors whose abstracts are accepted will be required to prepare 3,000-5,000 word papers, due March 1, 2011.
