Welcome to Teaching Triage, an online teaching and learning reference guide created to provide a quick, accessible source for you, the design instructor. Teaching Triage can help you make the most of learning opportunities with your students and have a satisfying teaching experience.

Perhaps you are preparing a brand new course and are wondering how to organize all that you would like the students to know into a successful, understandable format. Or maybe you are teaching a course that you are already familiar with and wish to make the exams more manageable and helpful for your students.

Format

Teaching Triage is designed so that you can use it in a way most helpful to your needs:

  1. You can peruse the content by topic on an as-needed basis. This works well for information such as “how long do students typically take to complete a multiple choice question?” or “how do I curve a set of grades?”
  2. You can also experience all of Teaching Triage and complete the included quiz. This strategy is very helpful if you are seeking a comprehensive look at design teaching and learning and you would like get your teaching and learning strategies off on the right foot.
